Women Cross DMZ has announced the 2024 Korea Peace Advocacy Week to be held from March 18 until the March 22nd. The virtual event will be the 9th annual Korea Peace Advocacy Week and is organized in collaboration with the American Friends Service Committee, Mennonite Central Committee, and the United Methodist Church – General Board of Church and Society.
Korea Peace Advocacy Week seeks to bring together hundreds of people from all across the country to advocate for peace in Korea through meetings with their members of Congress. The 2024 Korea Peace Advocacy Week will allow participants to attend two to three virtual meetings with Congressional staff during which they will be able to share personal stories and advocate for members to support H.R.1369, the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act
